Once upon a time in the heart of Portland's Pearl District, there lived a salon that may be hard to find if you didn't know where to look.  That salon is Urbaca and in 2005 Urbaca's skin care department started to get, well, a little weird.

Urbaca's Licensed Esthetician, Sherry Okamura Leonard, began crafting custom scents using a blend of essential and skin safe fragrance oils.  In 2007 she created a custom scent for every person working at Urbaca.

Fast forward to 2011, she mixed the most popular fragrances with luscious lotions, aloe, sea salt and distilled rosewater toner.

In the summer of 2011, in conjunction with Urbaca Salon, Sherry set up her first Wall of Wonder.  Currently available are lotions, skin safe room freshening sprays, and magic soak salts named after must-see spots near Portland, OR.

In the fall of 2011, we introduced organic-focus spa skin care line. 

What does organic-focus mean?  Often organic or "natural" products don't have much of a shelf life and products with bacteria or mold aren't good for your skin!
