OHSU Picks Urbaca Salon to Join War on Melanoma™

Did you know Oregon has the 5th highest melanoma rate in the US?

Urbaca was hand chosen by the Chair of Dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to receive special training on early detection/prevention of skin cancer for clients during hair appointments.

Saturday May 19, from 9a-2p Daria and Sareli will be at OHSU for the PDX Skincare Festival. They will operate the Urbaca booth as well as attend training seminars for hair/skincare professionals. Afterward, they will come back to Urbaca and train the entire staff! We want you to look amazing and keep you and your family safe from skin cancer.

There will also be skin cancer screenings, a 5k fun run and much, much more! Hope to see you there :)
